This item measures almost 10\" long 7\" wide. wood base about 2\" thick, blade 4\" . Blade swivels and lifts for many angles. No markings. I bought it at an estate sale and was told the owners grandfather had a general store up near Putnam Ct. But who knows for sure. Bottom shows that at one time it was also the cutting top and was then reversed. So I would believe by the marks of cutting it is real old. Thanks for looking. Murph Related Items:
