Why is it that every celebrity goes out there and modifies horrible cars. Seriously, if you are going to spend $10,000 modifying a Dodge Charger, why start with a R/T? Especially when you got the money for anything you want?
Aside from that I don't really even want to get into the taste side of this but I could go one for ever.
Case and point, Bernard Hopkins. (He is a boxer) See more of his horrible taste at eBay.
Michael Phelps may look gangster in his Mercedes SL but if you really want to be the toughest guy on the block you also need a black SUV. Looks like Phelps has the tough guys, big baller look complete with his black Range Rover and another set of awful looking wheels.
I'm not one for convertibles. I feel that they're a little to flashy and I like a little more privacy. But when you want to show off there probably isn't anything better than a murdered-out Black Mercedes Benz SL63, that is if you don't care enough to get an Aston Martin or a Bentley GTC.
Ronny Turiaf may not play for the Lakers any more but that doesn't mean he would send his cars to the guys at Platinum Motorsport his ride to customize!
I'm sorry Floyd Money Mayeweather but your car game is weak. The fact that you would have paid 600K for a Mercedes SLR is great because that means your investment is down about 55%. I've seen you in the magazines before and I know you stick your name on every car of yours but you need to get something unique that an enthusiast would care about. OH and get your cars off that Lambo!
As you can see, Alfanso Soriano has a stately but understated chariot, something that offers him comfort without drawing too much attention to himself. Afonso's custom blue Hummer H2 is certainly no Crown Vic on 26s, but it's a little nicer than my ride.
Check out these exclusive photos of David Beckham's Cadillac Escalade that was a gift from Tom Cruise. We have yet to get some great shots of him out and about in the Cadillac Escalade custom adorned in all 23 insignia but as soon as we catch David Beckham in it... you will see them!
UPDATE: From a recent news article... Beckham says rumours on a website that the three vehicles were gifts from friend Tom Cruise are wrong. "Someone asked me if they were a gift from Tom Cruise but, no, I bought them myself," he says.
Beckham told the Los Angeles Times he prefers to drive himself rather than having a chauffeur and that he isn't daunted by Los Angeles's notorious traffic jams. "I love driving, so if I'm on the freeway for longer than I usually am, then I'll enjoy it, listening to music and driving the car."
Beckham has an impressive garage in Britain that houses some of the world's most exotic machinery, including a Porsche 911, Ferrari 550 Maranello, Aston Martin DB7, Bentley Continental GT and Lamborghini Gallardo. He also likes off-roaders. He has owned an armour-plated BMW X5 (bought after a kidnap attempt on one of his sons), a Hummer H2 and a Lincoln Navigator.
