First and foremost, this eye-catching hand-painted original production cel is HUGE, fitting into a 25" x 18" mat window in a 33" x 26" frame. From the very first season of the hit noir/superhero gem, this spectacular cel comes with an HBO seal. Todd McFarlane's Spawn is one of HBO's only original animated programs as well as one of the first, and it ranked 5th on IGN's list of "The Greatest Comic Book Cartoons of All Time". Since its release over 20 years ago, it has developed a cult following for its dark, adult-oriented take on serialized animation. This spectacular piece shows very little handling and is displayed over a printed background for presentation purposes. Framed under Plexiglas, the cel is in Fine condition. The frame is sold as is.
