Kneeling knight bookends-rare item-circa 1920. Feels like bronze clad pieces but copper instead of bronze perhaps-I am unsure
Patina is worn from age and countless cleanings but very attractive on a shelf as is.
The only information on these that I\'ve found is below (but these do not have the added paint as seen in the photo onthe link):
\"The rarest knight bookend pair we know is a knight kneeling between two small castles. His mantle and his shield show a red cross on a white background, the insignia of the Knights Templar.
