A Mosaic. By the Artists' Fund Society of Philadelphia. Edited by Harrison Morris. 135 pages. 22 photogravure reproductions of paintings. Photogravure plates are perforated at the gutter to allow for ease of detachment (all present). Each plate is accompanied by a leaf before and after - the before leaf contains title and artist of the painting on the recto side along with a segment of poetry on the verso; while the after leaf contains a few passages of text.
Oversized, beautiful book measures 11 1/4 x 8 inches and 1 inch thick. Vibrant green cloth with gold and silver art nouveau decorations and lettering. Gold floral pattern end papers. Top edge gilt.
Rare first edition.
