I HAVE NOT FOUND ANOTHER ONE LIKE IT. THE INFORMATION GIVEN LEANS IT TOWARDS ONE OF THE FIRST TO COME OUT OF THE NEW YORK FACILITY.
This Rumidor is in Excellent condition. It is showing it's age with a Beautiful Patina. It has NO DENTS or other.
A 1920s era copper humidor. It measures 7 ¾ inches high and 5 7/8 inches in diameter across the bottom. There are no dents. The knob on the top of the lid turns, and has three markings on it: IN, ON, and OFF. Inside the lid is 1 7/8 inch diameter cylinder with 5 holes on the side. Turning the knob on the top adjusts the holes from being completely open to completely closed, adjusting the humidity inside. The knob turns, but is a bit stiff. The bottom of the cylinder inside the lid is stamped with "U.S. PATENT NO. 1704908 T.M.REG. U.S.PAT.OFF THE RUMIDOR CORPORATION NEW YORK CITY ". The humidor is tin-lined inside and has age spotting.
