Available here is a great wooden Kite Shield reminescent of those carried by the Teutonic Knights during the Middle Ages and The Crusades. The Teutonic Knights would wield white shields with black crosses as they accompanied and protected Christians on pilgrimages to theHoly Land. This large shield is fit for such a warrior. It features a black cross with a metallic gold border on a white background. The shield has been completely hand-crafted and hand-painted. Stainless steel studs line the edges, and dual leather straps secure the arm along the backside. It measures about 44 inches in height and has the strongest wooden body you're going to find. It's made out of a smooth-surface composite wood which is considerably stronger than plywood. Several coats of topcoat/varnish have also been applied to protect the design from wear. This shield would be perfect for either that upcoming Renaissance Festival in your area, or some backyard brawling with friends.It is well made and ready to serve!
