Very nice 6th plate of a soldier in a blouse with a a light colored hat. He appears to be armed with an Austrian Lorenze Rifle. He has a waistbelt with oval buckle (can't really make out what's on it) a and bayonet frog and cap pouch. Really not sure if this guy is a Yankee or a Rebel so it's up to the buyer to decide. One thing that seems odd for a Union soldier is the very narrow cartridge box strap. Make your own decision and offer accordingly. In gilt frame with bottom half of the case only. Some damage to the case.

The musket is incorrectly described and appears to be a m1842. Most likley this a Yankee so offer accordingly.
