It's always good to have the right sized battery on-hand. It's very easy to remove the clock to change the battery and replace it.
This is a beautiful decorative clock that will be stunning in an office or library. It's a lovely gift for a college or law school graduate.The tallest side is about 7.25" , next 6.75" Full depth including the clock is about 2.50". The clock itself is approx 2.75" diameter.
I do not know if this is Maitland Smith, so I will not say that it is. It came from a home that was full of Maitland Smith furniture and accessories, and many other book themed items of decor. It has a gorgeous "old book" look to it.
