*****************JFK DOLL****************This item is an extremely rare 23” JFK Doll. This is the only one that I have ever seen. I have seen the 12” JFK and LBJ Dolls, but never the 23” JFK. It is identical to the 12’ JfK Doll.
12” JFK and LBJ Dolls are shown/listed on page 69, item # 3D-247 in “ The Campaign Items of John F. Kennedy, 50th Anniversary Edition, by Harvey Goldberg, director.”
I believe that this is the only JFK Era ( 1960-1963 ) doll produced. Later other dolls hit the market, EFFANBEE: 1986, Franklin Mint (1990’s) and Peggy Nisbet (England) . I have a collection that include those other dolls along with other dolls. I think that this doll would make a wonderful, large, almost 2 feet item that is VERY unique and interesting!!!!! P.S.
