Gold in large pockets and silver veins. The slab has been cut for a long period and the silver is a tarnished silver/greyed blue and you can see a mix of gold inside the silver and a few solid gold spots. Rare limited 1800s Ore Knob Copper Mine, North Carolina, Blue Ridge Mountains, USA specimen. A registered historical mine that no longer produces. Comes with a photo packing slip with slabs origin. Review photos for details on the size of the precious metals' gold in silver veins. It has been cut for a long time and blackish spots are pure raw tarnished silver mingled with gold. Mine history details can be found on most search engines. This slab measures 5" x 3 1.2 " x 7/8". Measurements are from the longest points with an even thickness. Lots of precious metal in the quartz ore, more silver than the ore host rock. Over one pound in weight. Review photos for details. Photos are taken with flash and natural sunlight. More specimens from the long-closed mine are available currently. The historic mine no longer produces, rare collectable precious metal ore with limited supply.
