Fresh to the market is this fine soapstone carving of a bear by Oregon artist/sculptor Gene Drake.I am not sure when this beautiful sculpture was created.
Drake is represented by the Stonington Gallery in Seattle, Washington.
Sculpture measures 6 1/4 inches long, 4 1/2 inches tall, and 3 1/2 inches at its widest.
Good to great overall condition -- a few scuffs/scratches mainly confined to the base and the right front leg (see photos).
