Original and exquisitely composed black and white Portrait by Photographer Horst P. Horst (1906-1999). Portrait is of world renowned American Fashion Designer and Business Woman Adele Simpson (1903-1995). Simpson had a storied career in fashion spanning 5 decades. Her dresses were a regular on presidential first ladies and movie stars. Horst was well known as a fashion photographer, and thus, the result here is the quintessential pairing. This photo is museum worthy as well as a statement in any fashion design house, photo or fashion collection, or for the Pratt Institute (her Alma Mater where she studied design).

Photo measures  13 1/4" x 10 1/2". 

Mount board is 20" x 16". 

Hand signed Horst to front margin. Back of board reads Horst Vogue Studio. Condition: lower area of photo has some transference particles. Board has some toning, chipping, corner bumps and smudging. Please see all photos.
