Okay....we are going to try this again.
Since the beginning of October, we\'ve had shipments lost. A LOT of shipments lost by the USPS. Not sure if they\'re lost forever, stolen or what the deal is? More than 200 shipments have been affected....and we\'ve been issuing refunds like crazy. A lot of extra work that we didn\'t plan on but, we\'re gluttons for punishment apparently? We have met with our local postmaster more than once and plan to meet with them more in the near future. We\'ve also had phone calls and video chats with other postal officials....trying to get something done about the lackluster service that is \' standard envelope.\' Not just for us but for all sellers--especially those dealing in collectible trading cards.The majority of our shipments after October 8th, seem to be getting to the intended recipients.
Right now, we will ship up to two standard sized cards (2.5\" by 3.5\" with roughly 18-24 pt. thickness) for the same low, standard envelope rate. Beyond that, we\'ll have to bump things up to Ground Advantage ($3.99)...but the good news is....you\'ll only have to pay this S&H charge once for every forty cards ordered. So, order forty one to eighty cards...pay $7.98 for shipping. Actually, beyond that....we\'ll figure it out!! The Ground Advantage rate should already be factored in on most (in time, all!) relic cards, thicker cards and the more valuable cards.
Also, should note and as most of you already know....the standard envelope shipping option is nice. It allows sellers the luxury of being able to sell a lot of lower ticket items that otherwise might never sell and most of the time, the process goes very well but it is far from 100% reliable.....especially the tracking. We ship everything we sell--within our dispatch time. If problems arise with any transaction, we\'ll work with our buyers to remedy any situation or issue refunds in a timely manner.
If purchasing or making offers on multiple items, please wait for an updated/combined invoice before making payment. Please feel free to take some time to check out all of our listings for items you may be interested in. We realize this can take some time but would prefer to have multiple items per order and not have to pay transaction fees on each and every item we sell.
Other notes: we have recently \"upgraded\" our scanner and trying to get more listings prepared in less time. There may be some scans on the newer listings that are not totally aesthetically pleasing. This may be due to us either not knowing how to properly clean the scanner as the scan count increased, using old penny sleeves or other anomalies involved with the new scanner that we\'re still learning about. We won\'t be selling or shipping cards that look as bad as some of the scans do. With over 30K new listings, this really only applies to a fraction of listings but we just wanted to let potential buyers know that we are aware of issues with some of the scans.
Also....we have a five day turnaround/dispatch time on all our listings. A lot of the time, we are able to get shipments out way ahead of this schedule. Sometimes, we have other things going on that require us to take the full five days.Please contact us for any additional questions.
