TAGLINE : "We owe them houses of cheer" - Purpose of this stirring stone litho poster was to encourage people to support the war effort by remembering the women of France, who had been doing the work that men had done before going off to war. The equivalent of the famed "ROSIE THE RIVETER"campaign of WWII. The poster features Lucien Jonas art of several women working in a smelter as others enter a YWCA building in the background.
