WWII AAF Crusher Cap of General Ira Eaker Museum Piece Named B-17 Masters of Air:

This item is a true museum piece and completely authentic. Originally purchased from IMA, this AAF crusher cap belonged to the commander of the 8th Air Force in the Second World War. It is named to Ira Eaker on the inside of the cap and remains in absolutely perfect condition. It is British made and an early war example.

I will provide a copy of the original listing from IMA, that can still be found online today.

It was in a very well respected collection for decades and has only been on the market twice since then. All the markings and details give every indication that this cap is 100% authentic and belonged to General Eaker. In gold, it is named “I C Eaker”.

This has been in my collection for years and I am just now deciding to list it. Don’t miss out on this incredible piece of history. You will not get another chance to find one like this.
