Vintage 12” Cast Iron and Gold Leaf Cherub and Ivy Baroque Candlestick Holders:

For your consideration is a pair of vintage cast iron candlestick holders finished with a hand applied decorative gold leaf. An impressive highly ornate set in the Baroque style, the well crafted candlesticks are beautifully cast in the form of cherubs against a trail of stylized ivy leaves. Standing approximately 12" in height, each side of the triangular base measures 5" in length, each candlestick weighs 2.5 pounds. Some expected age related loss and mild wear is seen to the gold leaf, but this is minor and is not immediately noticed or distracting. Otherwise the condition is very good and they present themselves well. Their precise age is unknown but they are obviously quite old, no manufacturers hallmark was found. Wear is commensurate to age and history of use so please regard the photos as they form a descriptive part of the listing.
