VTG Guerlain Shalimar Lotion Vegetale Bottle GLASS STOPPER Young-Quinlan ‘30-50s:

VINTAGE Guerlain Shalimar Lotion Vegetale hair tonic rarer old bottle from the 1930-50’s. Inherited this and think it’s pre fifties. Bottle about 6” tall and about 2 3/4” at widest point.

The label is torn, dark, has had tonic spilled on it.

Glass stopper is chipped and the flat surfaces where stopper sits have small chips and fine crack. Silver cap has wear, stains. The lotion still smells great.

Appears the sticker on bottom is the YQ logo from the historic Minneapolis Young Quinlan store.

The store was owned by Elizabeth Quinlan, a pioneering woman in the fashion/retail industry.

Will decant the lotion into a plastic bottle so it doesn’t spill during shipping.
