I've owned this clock for about 15 years and it has run reliably with some TLC.

Early in my ownership the connection between the power cord and the coil on the motor came loose so I replaced the power cord and I spliced in some leader wire to make it start working.

A few years later the motor was making noise and I noticed the coil paper insulation was deteriorating so I used electrical tape to tighten everything up and realign everything.

It has worked for about 4 years since the last repair but I think finally the coil has burned through or the telechron motor unit is jammed.

The case is in good original condition including the original labels and sales tag for $54. The Westminster chimes are charming and strike every 15 minutes and then toll the hour.

I am selling this 70-year-old clock for its original list. Price of $54 plus $14 shipping.
