Originally a Corvette-class light frigate named Tachi (ECF 270), Rocinante was renamed by Captain James Holden, who used her to escape the MCRN flagship where she was stationed. Armed with defensive cannons and torpedoes, and later modified to carry a spine cannon, this versatile Martian craft became home to Holden and his ragtag crew – and played a key role in their adventures across the solar system.
Built as a narrow building turned on its side, the Rocinante overlaps each of its dedicated floors – from the propulsion cone and reactor at the stern, to the bow command deck. The g-forces of its travel provide a consistent "down" feeling for the crew inside. With a machine shop, engineering deck, galley, crew cabins, medical bays and storage deck, the Rocinante had a complement of more than a dozen naval personnel - and three Reconnaissance Drones, named "Peart", "Lee " and "Lifeson".Thumbnail does not come with booklet.Material: Die-cast
