Gorgeous 19th Century Panels, probably vestments, these beauties have spectacular hand embroidery using tambour chainstitch in an art nouveau design. The ecru silk damask is a brocatelle with a 3-dimensional quality. The gold metallic trims are bright and there are metallic bullion fringes at the bottom edges. Thebullion fringe has darkened some giving it a nice antique patina.The condition is excellent.
