This is an authentic, exceedingly rare set of two (2) vintage 'AIR FORCE ONE' PRESIDENTIAL SEAL CRYSTAL JUICE GLASSES ordered by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy in 1963 and used by the President and Mrs. Kennedy aboard the presidential aircraft during JFK's last year in office. Measuring approx. 4.0" in height and 2.0" inches in diameter, each glass is emblazoned with the Presidential Seal in 22K gold. These glasses are impossible to find anywhere, particularly such a well preserved two-glass set. Glasses are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Issued by the White House, this is a unique and extremely scarce Presidential relic directly from President Kennedy's airplane -- AIR FORCE ONE. Morgantown brochure shown in listing photos is NOT included in sale. All photos taken without flash.

ABOUT MORGANTOWN:Founded in 1899 in West Virginia, Morgantown Glass produced high quality pressed and hand-blown glassware throughout the first half of the 20th Century. The company ceased operations briefly in the 1930s, but reopened as Morgantown Glassware Guild Inc. Morgantown became a favorite of the Kennedy White House beginning in 1961, when First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy placed an order for water goblets, champagne glasses, wine glasses, and finger bowls (all without engraving, coloring or cut-glass patterns). She would place subsequent orders in 1962 and 1963 for glassware used in The White House and aboard Air Force One.After Kennedy's death, Morgantown was sold to Fostoria Glass, which suspended Morgantown's annual new designs and ultimately shuttered it completely.
