Lot of 10 vintage Christmas Cards by western artist Fred Olds. Marked \"Oklahoma Historical Society Seal\" I am guessing these were for sale as a fundraiser for the Oklahoma Historical Society.Estate sale find. At time of listing, I have a total of 60 cards available. There are no envelopes. I believe the art featured on the card is dated 1973 but the cards themselves are undated.
Card is art by American artist Fred Olds. Mr. Olds was a Columbia University fine arts graduate who lived and taught and worked in Oklahoma for many years. He often painted and sculpted his favorite subjects \"horses, cowboys, Indians, and The West.\" He was involved in the rehabilitation of the Oklahoma Territorial Museum in Guthrie. He painted over 100 depictions of Oklahoma land runs. The art on this card, which appears to have be printed for the Oklahoma Historical Society, is titled \"Waiting for Santa Claus, 1889.\" 1889 is an Oklahoma land run year.Condition: in good vintage condition. Paper shows some yellowing. No major bends or stains. See photos for examples of condition. Related Items:
