approx size of Carte de Visite 4.1" x 2.5" (ref B086)This carte de visite came from an album with a few named sitters but sufficient to identify and research them. This lady is Adele Vallentine born c1839 in Middlesex and who in 1858 married Frank Haes in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. By 1871 the family were based in London where Frank Haes was a well known photographer.I post on Monday-Friday, purchases made before 12 noon will generally be posted same day, otherwise the next working day.
