Superb and wonderful vintage MADEIRA tableclothwith extensive wonderful cutwork and elaborate handembroidery in an interesting floral design. The cutwork coversalmost every inch of fabric.Extraordinary and exquisite hand done embroidery done inpadded satin stitches, tiny seed stitches and some drawnwork.The workmanship is just breathtaking and all hand done.
Condition is excellent with the exception of a minorquarter-sizedfaint agespot which is almostimpossible to find. I examined the tablecloth many timesand could not find one broken bridge.A trulyspectacular piece and heirloom.Size - 116" x 65"
