Beautiful 19th C. French Marble & Ormolu Mantel Clock Full working and chiming:

Very Attractive 19th century French Mantle clock, Full Working.Gilt Architectural shape on a white marble base.
Very ornate plinth base with gilded marble insert, rising up to a drum shape clock
Each side is extended to accommodate twin gilded marble cartouches over serpentine feet decorated with foliate swags of Vine and Grapes.
On top is a large Urn form finial with Serpentine handles and round marble plinth.
Gilded marble dial with incised gilt roman numerals and sunburst design, surrounded by a beaded bezel
Very ornate clock with lots of detail.
Re-Gilded Ormolu effect
Cleaned and restored, so the gilding gleams and the movement works, keeping perfect time and striking hours and halves.
No maker mark on movement
Key and pendulum present
Absolutely Full Working. (Has been going for three days now.)
