This specimen exhibits the naturally occurring dissolution etching on the exterior faces of the fluorite as well as the desirable color zoning & near perfect formation associated with the locale. Under both long & short wave UV, this specimen has exceptional fluorescence.
As of January 1, 2024, the Elmwood mine system is no longer in operation & no projected date for reopening has been announced. Since this time, both the demand & cost for examples from this revered American locale have began to skyrocket.
