The listed photo (and others we have listed or are in the process of listing) came from an estate owned by Bernard H. Kock. Kock who served in the Ohio State Guard for 20 years, was in charge of the topographical surveying of Cincinnati, Ohio before, during, and after the flood of 1937 and committed over 50 years of service for the city of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. As noted in the article, photography was a hobby of Mr. Kock and it served him well in his professional role. We will be listing multiple original military and government issue photographs of the 1937 flood that later became his personal property in his personal collection.
