Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Working 1908 Cast Iron "The Beehive Clock" Figural Beehive Shaped Novelty Mantel Shelf Desk Clock, Made in the USA. This has a Cast Iron Beehive Shaped Clock Case with Embossed Lettering Which Reads "The Beehive Clock" and "Our Toil Doth Sweeten Others". The Dial is the Original Paper Over Tin Dial with Arabic Style Numerals and Decorative Applied Ornate Brass Gilt Center. This Has a Mechanical Wind-Up Novelty Movement, Which Winds and Sets From The Rear, and is Signed "1908 pat. date Made in USA". This measures approx. 9 3/4" Tall x 10 1/4" Wide x 3 1/2" Deep. The Clock is in Working Condition and Winds and Sets, and is Ticking, but has Not Been Tested Long Term, and has Not Been Serviced, Sold As Found! Good Original Condition As Pictured!
