This vintage Junghans desk clock is a stunning piece of mid-20th century atomic design. The clock is made of brass with a beautiful gold finish and features a dome glass cover, which adds to its unique charm. The dome glass is a snug fit, the diameter seems to be small, however the clock runs great. The clock is battery-operated and runs silently, giving you an accurate reading of the time without any ticking sounds.

There are scuffs and wear to the brass on the base, as is shown in the pictures.

I modified and made my own battery housing to hold a D cell battery.

1 D cell battery has lasted over a year, and is still ticking. It will be removed before shipping.

The clock runs great. The speed can be increased or decreased with the adjustment on the pendulum.

2 leveling feet on the base. The clock has to be level to work properly.

No chips or cracks on the glass dome.
