AC Hydraulic DK13HLQ Floor Jack

AC Hydraulic DK13HLQ Floor Jack
AC Hydraulic HLQ models are extreme High-Lifters with extra long reach. The frame on the DK13HLQ stays at a low 3.1″ height for the first 16 inches of chassis length. It then begins to rise gradually to 6.3″.

The DK13HLQ is the jack to have if you own a car with centralized lifting points (most modern AWD and RWD cars), anything with side pipes, like a Cobra kit car and Viper, or you just need a jack with this type of long and flat construction to grab a frame rail from the side. The DK13HLQ will eliminate the need to drive up on ramps or place 2×4’s under the tires to reach your lifting points. Great for lifting Porsche’s, BMW’s, Mercedes, Corvettes, Ferraris, VWs, and very low European cars!

Check them out at AC Jacks.

I bought a DK13HLQ new 8 years ago, it is my favorite jack to use but it is far from perfect. It is very difficult to lower a car slowly, my Lincoln is much more precise. The wheels came with large o rings on them that fell off after 2 years of light use. The raising and lowering handle is wobbly and unintuitive to use. I like the low lift height but wouldn’t buy one again.

This looks very neat! Mine happens to be very old, however I belong to the auto club and they are very responsive when I have a mechanical breakdown. Really for the annual fee, this to me is great value for money.

Wayne Overbeck: It’s possible to adjust the lowering-speed with an ombraco, like the video shows.
I have the DK13HLQ and I’ve had no problem with the handle, mine is never though.
By fare the best high-end jack I’ve owned.

The AC Hydraulics DK13HLQ is an outstanding jack. There is nothing like it on the planet that has the same extremely low saddle height, extreme total height, or quality. They are second to none. But unfortunately, they are priced accordingly! I’ve had my DK13HLQ from acjacks dot com for over a year and it hasn’t skipped a beat, its one of the best automotive tools I own!

I agree this jack is the best that money can buy. Though they are hard to find these days, I found one listed on Amazon.com at the following link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TD9182

Perfect choice for my low-rider. A regular shop jack just won’t cut it in my garage as both my cars have really low clearance.

That is one smooth drop! I’m not at the point where I need to start considering a new jack, but when the time comes this one is a sure contender for a coveted spot in my garage.
