Up for sale is a vintage original World War Two United States M1 helmet swivel bale front seam steel shell helmet. This is a named veteran helmet the name inside the helmet is Harry Frandell from the 6th corps Area. He was probably from Wisconsin or Illinois or Michigan. This is an untouched helmet and matching liner. This is an early model helmet from 1941 to 1943. It has a high pressure liner marked with a W for Westinghouse and the helmet is marked 89.1B. Harry Frandells service number inside the helmet is 36821935. Looks like the helmet is an infantry combat helmet. There are some numbers on the outside of the helmet. Condition of the helmet is good the liner inside the helmet has some condition issues there are some torn and ripped pieces but looks to be original to the liner. The chin strap seems to be there. I’m not an expert on this helmet so I will be selling it in as is condition. You could probably do some research on the named helmet Harry Frandell on find more information about his service.
