This vintage Watts Sheffield England travel sewing kit is a unique and collectible item originating from the United Kingdom. The kit includes a set of 3 scissors with a leather zippered case making it a practical yet stylish accessory for any sewing enthusiast. All 3 pairs have golden filagree handles and are stamped "Watts Sheffield England".The one larger pair has a very minor rust spot on one of the cutting blades (see photos). The larger pair are 5 1/2" in length. The 2 smaller pairs are 3 3/4" in length. The case measures 6 1/4" x 2 1/2" x about 1" thick when closed. Zipper pull reads "Lightning".
This item belonged to a lovely English woman that came to America after WW2 and raised her family in NYC area.With its authentic vintage charm and high-quality craftsmanship, this kit is sure to appeal to collectors and those with a passion for classic sewing items.
