Full DescriptionItem: Vintage 1933 Chicago World’sFair ("A Century of Progress") campfire novelty kettle ashtray with original hanging stand and removable glass insert.Design & Form: Modeled as an open-hearth campfire cooking cauldron suspended from an A-frame spit rack. The pot can hang freely from the central hook or sit flat on a table using its own built-in tripod feet.Components & Materials:Spun Copper Kettle/Cauldron: Rounded copper bowl fitted with three turned-brass pegged feet riveted through the bottom interior and a brass wire swing-bail handle with a peaked center hook loop.Embossed Cigarette Rest: Soldered to the rim, featuring a raised-relief depiction of the streamlined locomotive speed-train logo flanked by the fair’s dates (1833 and 1933) and marked:
