Vintage BOJ mechanical turtle desk bell. Crafted in Eibar, Spain, this exquisite mid-century novelty bell is shaped like a tortoise with a polished gold-tone head, legs, and tail.The centerpiece is its stunning dome shell, which features an intricate, traditional Spanish damascene inlay. This specific variant features a crisp, elegant pattern of birds perched among blooming floral branches rendered in a striking matte black enamel and bright gold contrast.The underside showcases the authentic manufacturer stamps and original patent numbers, along with the mechanical winding key lever.
