Found this at an estate sale, when I was cleaning it the red paint seamed to be coming off, i didn’t want to risk scrubbing to hard to dull the yellow paint but with proper cleaning products you should be able to remove it. The Vintage US Navy Battle Lantern Submarine Ship Deck Light Flashlight is a collectible item that represents a piece of military history. This deck light, originating from the United States Navy, showcases a nostalgic design that reflects the theme of militaria. With its authentic vintage appeal, this item serves as a unique addition to any collection, offering a glimpse into the maritime history of the United States Navy. I did not test this I have no idea if it works. Sold as is.
