Vintage SIC France Carved Wood Alpine Farm Relief Wall Plaque
Beautiful vintage dimensional wood relief wall plaque marked SIC 26, featuring a detailed Alpine pastoral scene with mountains, a rustic chalet, cattle at a watering trough, evergreen trees, and women in traditional European dress.
The scene has wonderful depth and texture with hand-applied color in warm, muted earth tones. The substantial wooden frame complements the rustic European folk-art appearance.
The lower-left portion of the scene is marked SIC 26. Based on comparable SIC pieces, SIC carvings were produced in France during the mid-20th century.

Condition:
Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear, surface marks, finish variation and patina consistent with an older decorative piece. Please examine all photographs closely, as they are an important part of the condition description.
