**Item Description:**Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Pacific Northwest Coast relief-carved and painted dance/display paddle. This piece features highly detailed traditional formline art depicting a regional crest figure, likely a Sea Bear or supernatural marine creature, flanked by stylized paws and textured cross-hatching.**Specifications:**- **Length:** Approximately 41 inches- **Material:** Lightweight hardwood (likely Red Alder), featuring a clean, odorless blonde grain finish.- **Artistry:** Deep relief carving with sharp negative spaces. Hand-painted in traditional black, deep maroon-brown, and teal/blue-green accents.- **Features:** Classic T-shaped cross-grip handle painted black.
