A wonderfully quirky and highly collectible vintage mid-century modern ceramic zebra head. Designed as a horizontal, laying-down cachepot, this piece features a dramatic, wide-open mouth showing an incredible, fully molded set of teeth and gums (rare)—a classic, expressive signature of vintage Italian Hollywood Regency majolica.

Key Features:

• Design: Solid cachepot design with an enclosed top crown; the open mouth serves as the main display cavity. There are no drainage holes in the mouth cavity, making it a perfect indoor cachepot (for double-potting live plants) or a whimsical tabletop catchall for keys, cards, or trinkets.

• Dimensions: Measures approximately 8.5 inches long by 5 inches high.

• Note on Manufacturing: There is a single, very tiny, perfectly round hole located on one of the teeth. This is a smooth, glazed-over factory artifact from the kiln-firing process. It is fully covered in the original glaze, entirely smooth to the touch, and completely authentic to its handcrafted production.
