Vintage Mexican carved onyx stone “siesta man” souvenir, depicting a resting man beneath an oversized sombrero.

This fun multipurpose piece features a cylindrical holder that can accommodate toothpicks, cocktail picks, matches or a pen, along with a small shallow sombrero-shaped dish that may have been intended as a miniature ashtray or catchall.

Beautiful natural gray, cream, black and beige banding throughout the polished stone.
