Vintage Japanese Hina Dolls Sannin Kanjo Kimekomi Hinamatsuri Set – Lacquerware Accessories 🏯 🌸

Beautiful vintage Japanese Hina doll set (Hina-ningyo) featuring the Sannin Kanjo, or Three Court Ladies, along with an assortment of traditional miniature lacquerware furniture and accessories. The Dolls range from about 3 to 3 1/2 inches tall and are about 2 inches wide.

These elegant figures traditionally occupy the second tier of the Hinamatsuri display, the Japanese Girls’ Day celebration. The dolls are crafted using the refined Kimekomi technique, an exquisite traditional method in which brocade fabric is carefully fitted into carved grooves in the doll’s body.

The figures feature expressive traditional faces finished with gofun, a polished oyster-shell powder traditionally used on Japanese dolls, beautifully styled black hair, and delicate gold-tone head ornaments. Their richly patterned kimono fabrics retain their vibrant colors and traditional elegance.

• Two ladies are standing at the sides, with one seated in the center.

Miniature Hina-Dogu Furniture & Accessories

• Imperial Palanquin (Norimono): Beautifully decorated with red and gold checkerboard-style patterns and mounted on a vivid red lacquered base.
• Three-Drawer Transport Chest (Tansu / Nagamochi): Black lacquer finish with elegant gold floral decoration and decorative metal hardware.
• 2 Raised Round Stands (Takatsuki): Black lacquered miniature stands with gold floral details, traditionally used for displaying seasonal sweets and offerings.
