Beautiful curated set of three vintage Japanese Imari-style porcelain plates in graduated sizes. Each plate features its own richly detailed pattern while sharing the classic Imari palette of deep cobalt blue, iron red/coral, white, green/turquoise and gilt accents.Together, the three plates make a striking coordinated wall or cabinet display and are especially well suited to chinoiserie, traditional, maximalist, Grandmillennial and collected interiors.The plates have three different backstamps/marks:* Large plate: marked GOLD IMARI – Hand Painted* Medium plate: marked U.S. AMADA, LTD. – OPEN HOUSE – JULY 1979, along with a blue Japanese mark
* Small plate: marked with Japanese characters and IMARI WARE – JAPANThe dated U.S. Amada plate provides a particularly interesting 1979 commemorative association.Measurements:
