Beautiful vintage/contemporary Italian marquetry (wood inlay) wall plaque featuring a highly detailed map of Italy alongside the American and Italian flags. Handcrafted by master artisans in Italy using high-quality mahogany with a brilliant glossy lacquer finish.
This unique piece features a commemorative Italian-American design and was originally purchased at the NEX (Navy Exchange) in Naples, Italy (NSA Naples military base). The official artisan tag remains completely intact on the reverse side, verifying its military exchange contract provenance and authentic mahogany wood construction.
