Striking vintage matched pair of Asian wall plaques featuring an ornate dragon and phoenix in a metallic gold-tone finish.
Each plaque is highly detailed with dimensional openwork construction. The dragon features intricately molded scales, claws, flowing whiskers and stylized clouds, while the companion phoenix is surrounded by elaborate scrolling foliage and cloud motifs.
The pieces are made of lightweight molded plastic/resin with a gold-tone finish, giving them the dramatic look of ornate carved or cast décor without the weight of metal.
The backs are marked MADE IN TAIWAN.
