$250.00
Up for sale is a beautiful, rare mid-century modernist architectural centerpiece vase designed by New York artist Cec LePage and commissioned specifically for the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Known primarily for fluid Lucite work, this iconic late 90s piece showcases LePage’s venture into industrial metalwork.
It is crafted by melting aluminum products which are then poured into a handmade mold, hand-finished, and meticulously hand-polished. Its incredible, low-profile elongated profile makes it a spectacular architectural focal point for a dining table, mantel, or credenza. Features a single rectangular slotted inset opening in the center to hold minimalistic floral arrangements, branches, or structural flora.
Rare piece of art.
