The matchbook-style kit contains hosiery mending threads and a needle and includes instructions for stopping hosiery runs.
Especially interesting historical advertising on the reverse reads:
“Help Employ More Handicapped People by Filling Your Goodwill Bag” and notes that more than 350 tons of clothing had been collected for war victims since 1942.
The front states that Buffalo Goodwill Industries had served the handicapped since 1920.
