Vintage A Peterson Product K Briar 53 Made in Ireland Estate Tobacco Pipe:
$99.00
An unusual vintage Irish estate pipe bearing the distinctive “A Peterson Product” nomenclature along with K BRIAR markings and shape number 53.This is an especially attractive piece of briar. The tall bowl displays excellent grain, including strong vertical grain along the sides, while the elongated shank shows beautiful swirling grain and birdseye. Its long shank, substantial bowl and gently bent stem give the pipe an elegant profile that stands apart from a more conventional straight billiard. The shank carries the unusual “A PETERSON PRODUCT” marking along with MADE IN IRELAND and 53. The opposite side is marked K BRIAR, and the black stem retains its matching K logo.
The Peterson-related nomenclature makes this an interesting piece for collectors of Irish estate pipes and Peterson-associated production.Restoration
This estate pipe has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out. The chamber and airway were cleaned, the briar was cleaned and polished, and the stem was cleaned and polished while preserving the original nomenclature.Condition
Very good restored vintage estate condition. The briar has developed a beautiful warm luster and displays excellent grain. The stem presents nicely and fits the shank well. The chamber and rim show normal evidence of previous use consistent with a vintage estate pipe. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition.
