This charming set features two vintage miniature mouse figurines, clearly marked with the signature of Annette Petersen. One mouse is dressed in a traditional Native American style headdress and buckskin garment, while the other is an angel bundled in a simple purple cloak kneeling in prayer with the wings poking out of the cloak. Dated 1983 on the base, these pieces are prime examples of the whimsical anthropomorphic style popularized by artisans in the early 1980s. The intricate hand-painted details on the feathers and facial features demonstrate high-quality craftsmanship characteristic of collectibles from this era. These resin or cold-cast stone miniatures are highly sought after by collectors of woodland creature figurines and vintage artisan miniatures.
