Vintage 1956 Wichita Beacon Newspaper Printing Plate Four Roses Bourbon Ad:

MEASUREMENTS: Approximately 22 inches wide x 17-1/2 inches tall (measured with a tape measure; see photos). Hand-marked at top "16" (page number) and press date "10-2-56." Stamped "MULTICAST MAT — MADE IN U.S.A."

CONDITION: Vintage used condition consistent with a 1956 pressroom piece. Light age toning and scattered spotting, several small mounting holes throughout, edge wear and light waviness along the edges. The raised relief printing surface is intact and all headlines, text, and images remain crisp and fully readable (see close-up photos). Sold as-is.

DESCRIPTION: Original 1956 newspaper stereotype printing mat used to print page 16 of The Wichita Beacon, Wichita, Kansas, for Tuesday, October 2, 1956. Text and images are reversed, as produced for the printing press.
