Design & Theme: Features a detailed molded relief depicting the classic romantic tale "Der Trompeter von Säckingen" (The Trumpeter of Säckingen), showing the trumpeter and his horse beside the castle walls.
German Inscriptions: Decorated with raised banners quoting the famous farewell song: "Behüt dich Gott, es wär so schön gewesen" on the front and "Es hat nicht sollen sein" near the base.
Lid & Accents: Fitted with an ornate, conical hinged pewter lid and leaf-motif thumblift showing natural aged patina.
Capacity & Marks: Estimated 0.5L capacity; stamped with a plain "GERMANY" export mark on the bottom base.
Condition has chip on bottom otherwise very nice pc for a collection
